"Early sales projections from Fandango, movietickets.com and factoring in the 1.21 gigawats of power, Riddick is on pace to have a 9 million dollar Friday on it's way to a 23 million dollar weekend. This should yield a total of 58.5 million."Deadlinebaumersbs.com

Do we know an estimated budget for the film?

Cause honestly my high bar for the film is $75m so close to $60m is fine if the budget isn't crazy.

Edit: HaHa, you got me. I stopped at Deadline in your url address. Funny.

The Butler is breaking out over here. Another massive fuck up by exhibitors. The Heat is doing ok while RIPD is bombing. The Butler should be in the biggest screens instead of The Heat. And should be in way more theaters! It was a very limited release!
