stuart360
Im surprised theres any interest in this series. The last film was pretty horrible. I liked it to be honest, i missed the hard violence and language that came with the PG13 shite but i thought the film was over all pretty damn good and looked amazing. The directors cut is a lot better as well. As for Riddick, i'm seeing it this weekend and my mate saw it last night and he thought it was really good, very gory and violent and he thought some of the planet effects and vistas looked incredible.
Cmasterclay
Last night was the first night of football season, and I figure football and the hard R genre action movie have at least a pretty damn big crossover. Might have done 1.2+ on a normal night. Not an awful figure.

Dementeleus
CHRONICLES isn't horrible, it's just really odd and awkward. I'm seeing RIDDICK this morning.
Captain Craig
With school fully in session nearly across the board now, vacation season over and the start to NFL last night I'd say pulling nearly $1m on a Thursday night is decent coin. Factor in it being a fallow property whose last installment(if anyone other than diehard movie followers remembers it) was poorly received and it's a nice number for the pic. DMan7
20M is locked, it's a Vin Diesel movie we're talking about here.
Fancyarcher
I can't believe people are still talking about midnight numbers as if they actually mean something right now. It's September people. Midnight numbers are basically useless when predicting a film's opening weekend.
