JJ-8
Awesome film. Go see it, if you in Australia. hits NZ on thursday! Be interesting whether it travels as well it has here overseas. (appears most releases will be in 2012 for this film)

Robertron
Any word yet on how well its doing in NZ?Yeh it'd be good to see some numbers? Will it get over a million for the total, or is that too much to expect?
JJ-8
Should the UK release date be 2012?I really hope this does well! It is an amazing amazing amazing movie!your right rob... just a typo.... (fixed now)as for NZ - where is inny when you need him! I think Red Dog could reach an opening close to 1m... but maybe i'm a little optimistic....
Robertron
Red Dog opened to US$97,000 in New Zealand.72 locations @ $1,344 a pop.I really don't know of that is good or not. I'm guessing not too crash hot, but, like Australia, legs will tell the tale.
Ball Lightning
Pretty bad theatre average, lets hope it has some great legs!!
JJ-8
Well NZ travelled a little better than it's OW indicated... it's @ 411k now. thats not too bad off a 92k OW. Not quite on the same level of legs as we saw in Australia but still a better sign of things than it's OW indicated. Now we wait to see if it can catch on in the UK. Once again this is the hurdle to see whether Red Dog gets a US release or not. If it does well in the UK there is a good chance it could see a wider release. In saying that, Germany has already had it released on DVD / Blueray....
SchumacherFTW
I can't see it being too big over here, which is a shame as I loved it.
JJ-8
disappointing if that happens... cause this films is a great film.... well worth watching. is it getting any kind of marketing push in the UK considering it's released at the end of the month. SchumacherFTW
I'm guessing that i'm one of the few people in the UK aware of it, let alone that have seen it.
