I absolutely loved this movie! Saw it 3 times, and will buy the blu-ray if it does not get released on Netflix.

Yeah, this. I'd be more shocked if the Goosebumps brand had any kind of value outside of North America.

They were a series of children's books that were at the peak of their popularity two decades ago when it also spawned a children's TV series (Hollywood tried making a movie out of the property since around that time until it finally happened in the form of this movie).

The book series is actually the the second best sold in history after Harry Potter. It sold about 350m copies.

I also was surprised by how much I loved this movie, I just wished more Cop scenes, they're the best part of the movie

They were fun but I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of heart the movie had. And that date at the amusement park scene was kinda magical.

 that scene was so magical indeed, I loved the couple, it worked really well, it wasn't annoying like most of the couples of teen movies.... actually, the whole movie was so nostalgic, like these good teen movies from early 1990s, I really think it can be a future classic
