MCKillswitch123
48 / 151 - Big breakout hit. Sequel fasttracked; to co-exist in the same universe as Easy Night. With all but one of the villains who attacked her during the 1st Easy Night raid either dead or arrested, except for only one person (Victor Cards, a - in the 1st movie - young teen who was coherced into villainy by all of his malicious loved ones and the least vicious of all the baddies, whom she spared so that he can better and redeem himself without having to see his teenhood be taken away from him via either death or prison), the Nightvalet believes that life will finally become better in the blocks. 2 years later, however, just a few months before she graduates from college, on the 2nd anniversary of the Easy Night, Jessica Davids walks in home... only to discover no one home. Her parents and little brother: all missing. She gets an anonymous call from a mysterious man, who asks her "what does it feel like to have everyone you love be taken away from you?". Many unanswered questions begin unravelling as, with help from the local authorities, the Nightvalet takes to chase the villain (in a swapping of places from the original movie), in a darker sequel that keeps the brutal action but takes more of a psychological thriller and character exploration side. Spoilers for Easy Night II: Spoiler The villain, unlike Jessica suspects, is not actually Victor Cards, but rather his former girlfriend Kara Warner (played in an unannounced role by Katherine Langford). Victor hanged himself shortly after the Easy Night raid, and Kara spent the 2 years getting money to pay the group of assassins she hired for a service operation to physically and psychologically torment and then kill the Nightvalet and everyone she loves, which included figuring her identity and finding voice disguising technology to sound like a man (Victor) just to mindfuck with her. Ultimately, while Kara attempts to commit suicide herself at the end after losing the final confontation with an escaped Nightvalet, Jessica prevents that from happening, telling her not to be a coward and that Victor would like her to tell their friends in prison that he's looking out for them. Also, the unrelenting group of hitmen that Nightvalet fights off all movie long and keep her family hostage - even killing her dad on Kara's orders - is the same underworld assassin gang that tried to murder the Shield Family, known as the Crawlers. MCKillswitch123
178 / 535 - Bonafide juggernaut due to massive marketing campaign, the promise of the union of these two popular franchises + the balls to the wall non stop ride pulling fantastic wom. Nominated for Best Original Screenplay. The final chapter of the franchise. After the emprisonment of the villains, the Night Family becomes an official thing, as Jessica Davids and Chris Shield aka The Raptor (son of the widowed middle sibling Sam) hook up, and poor Sam Shield tries to get out of the friendzoned w/Jessica's traumatized mom (whose husband died in Easy Night II). However, when a brand new enemy shows face - the ruthless prostitute trafficking gang known as The Game - the hospitalities come to a halt, as all members of the Shield Family except Chris are snatched on a miscalculated raid. Jessica and Chris are sent into the biggest suicide mission of their lives to not only rescue the other Night Family members, but also to free all of the prostitutes The Game has as slave hostages.
