My favorite actors from the Golden Age aren’t necessarily superstars per say, rather I’m into a lot of old horror actors (Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi), but I’m also a big fan of Humphrey Bogart, Gregory Peck, John Wayne etc.

In general I prefer old movies to new movies.

Also interesting to see actors like Charles Bronson, Lee Marvin, and Vincent Price get their start in the golden age before they developed into “superstars” themselves (Vincent Price to a lesser extent).

I like so many... If I have to choose an actor and an actress I would say Audrey Hepburn (My fair lady, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Charade, Sabrina, Roman Holiday, How to steal a million, Robin and Marian) and Humphrey Bogart (Casablanca, my favorite movie ever, The big sleep, To have and have not, Key Largo, The African Queen, The Maltese Falcon).

But it would be unfair not to mention Grace Kelly (absolutely great in Rear window), Marlon Brando (his Godfather is probably the best performance I have ever seen), Cary Grant, Charles Chaplin or James Stewart. And one that is not so well known but was an incredible actor: Edward G. Robinson. I saw him by the first time in Key Largo and I was shocked.
