CloneWars
You should maybe go off of OW weekend as well. Like best legs for a film that opened $20m, $50M, $100M+ etc. I think the opening has to be taken into account as well.
kayumanggi
Theater count should also be considered.
baumer
I think you need to narrow it down. If you want just straight up legs, then go back to films like Jaws, Raiders, SW and so on.

druv10
First narrow the parameters to 80's, 90's or 2000's than the theater count. ET for 80's, Titanic for 90's and MBFGW for 2000's.

lab276
2009: AVATAR!!!, Taken, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, The Blind Side, The Hangover, and Up (leggiest year of the 21st century IMO)It would almost certainly be 2000. Sure some movies got good legs, but overall, they held better back then.
Halba
batman begins 4.2 multiplier anything with 4.0 and above is a very good multiplier. Edited October 13, 2013 by Halba

Theater count is an important factor. Some films have great multipliers because they open low in a few theaters then expand week after week. CloneWars
In relation to its OW, I feel TDK held up really well.
SchumacherFTW
I still think Avatar's legs were retarded, especially considering how the way a films run has changed in the last 5-10 years

peludo
Taking the BOM opening weekends list and sorting by % of total you have the whole US list: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/weekends/?pagenum=1&sort=percent&order=ASC&p=.htm The best legs ever are for My big fat Greek wedding with about x80 multiplier. XenoZodiac
Ok, lets complicate things a bit, shall we? Draw a graph, with OW at x-axis and multiplier on y-axis. After you have done plotting, draw iso-awesomeness lines (contour lines, lines joining all points having some constant value, in this case awesomeness of the movie). As for example, if you think Avatar and Titanic are equally awesome, then you should join the two points representing those two films (77M,10x) and (28M, 22x). Lets see what happens next.
