Unsurprisingly taking a hit with the arrival of a fellow superhero, Captain America: The Winter Soldier fell just over 50% on its way to $1.4m (£832,000).

Disney’s latest Marvel Studios outing did enjoy a fruitful week with the Easter school holidays, lifting its running total to $28.7m (£17.03m) as of yesterday. It will overtake Iron Man’s $29.3m (£17.4m) in the coming days, with Thor: The Dark World’s $33.9m (£20.1m) its next potential target.

 

The £ exchange rate for the is better now than with TDW.  It's total in $s was $31,811,834.  Almost makes up for the poorer Argentina and Brazil exchange rates that favor TDW over TWS

Not a huge increase from any of the solo movies. India is more of a Spider-Man country. I won't be surprised if TASM2 breaks 15M dollars in India.

Avengers made 12m I believe. The next one I think will make about 15-16m.

I'm only finding India $s on BOM and it's pretty sketchy info. They don't provide weekly let alone yearly data.  It's obvious  though that Avengers gave a huge boost to post Avengers films

My mistake. The 4M that BOM has are the gross figures. Now it makes more sense. Movies in India report nett earnings as opposed to gross. So a 4M gross would be roughly 24Cr gross i.e. around 15-18Cr nett.

 

Spidey will probably have 90Cr Nett i.e. 120+ gross, so around 20M gross.

Easily over.  It's already ahead of TDW Int'l and coming off a w/e that's almost 50% higher ($35.3m vs 24m) and it's going to pass it domestically by Wed when it will be $35m ahead and counting.
