A Marvel Fanboy
62M OS for the weekend is not a pretty expandsion. Seems 400m os is hard. Disappointing. Edited April 13, 2014 by firedeep
CJohn
Should do another 60M next weekend. Dat Easter effect. It will end close to 500M WW again. On a 103M budget. Rio 3 is a lock. Edited April 13, 2014 by CJohn
A Marvel Fanboy
First one did 350m os, this one was supposed to crack 500m os alone.
CJohn
First one did 350m os, this one was supposed to crack 500m os alone. Not sure exactly why. I always thought it would do around the same as the first. People liked the first, but they weren't screaming for more.

picores
First one did 350m os, this one was supposed to crack 500m os alone. That makes no sense.
picores
Strong openings in South America, as expected. 300 OS locked. Plus 125 minimum from domestic. That makes more than 4x the budget.
tupek
So looks like this is Kung Fu Panda 2 over again. KFP made $420m OS, KFP2 made $500m.... But KFP2 had a massive increase in China, and considering it had 3D, it is possible it made worse in attendance. Looks like kinda the same story for Rio 2.
