Neo
I'd love to have J.J. back. We're still talking to Paramount about what the scheduling might be and if we can all do it together again, but yeah I read that too and I was like, 'Whoa, does [Quinto] know something I don't? I'd better call him.' He owes me a call. http://blog.zap2it.com/pop2it/2013/07/comic-con-roberto-orci-on-enders-game-ending-star-trek-3-and-lgbt-stance.html

Neo
We are currently talking to Paramount to see if we can make a schedule work where we can remain involved, but again, for example the second movie we teamed with Damon Lindelof, so on the the third film we may do something similar. [but] With anyone who's willing and able to come help out with the crew of the Enterprise [not necessarily Lindelof]. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/GraphicCity/news/?a=84939
Blankments
Apparently the short list of directors are: Jon M. Chu Joe Cornish Justin Lin Brad Bird Of those, I'd be fine with anyone except Chu, although I'd like Bird the best. Lin could be a great choice too. Neo
Maybe with Bird it can reach STID box office levels.
Blankments
Bird or Lin I think could really do well with this franchise. Hope it's one of those two.

Dilusha Bandara
This movie won't come any closer to the quality of JJ's movies, unfortunately. But still some hope about Brad Bird.
