Neo
At this point both of those movies should be filed under "I'll believe them when I see them". It's possible one of them will make the current release date, though it's probably just as likely that neither of them will. There's pretty much a 0% chance that both of them will though. Same can be said for ST3 or any movie that hasn't started production yet. Maybe on ID4-2, but can't see T5 missing as of now. Still overload with T5/ST3 for one weekend. Another thing T5 is Paramount same as ST3, T5 would need to move. Edited November 3, 2013 by Neo

CloneWars
2016 makes the most sense with it being the 50th anniversary and all.

Captain Craig
Shouldn't this thread be called Star Trek 13? (Since, you know, it's the 13th ST movie. The presence of old Leonard Nimoy indicates that they are in fact all part of the same multiverse.) It's exactly how I refer to it in shorthand. The continuity aspect of Leonard Nimoy's Spock keeps it rooted back to the "Prime ST Universe" just like the episodes were anchored there anytime they went to the Mirror Mirror Universe. This offshoot universe is no different as I see it and I'm hoping at some point we loop back, somehow, someway either using Shatner/Kirk or the Bajoran Wormhole to bring Sisko out from being with the "prophets". Founder / Operator Shawn Robbins Posted November 6, 2013 Founder / Operator Share Posted November 6, 2013 Hope this is for 2016, not '15 I think it's a safe bet it will be, unless they take a holiday 2015 spot--but the only way that happens is if Disney doesn't put Star Wars there.

Neo
Maybe October 30? Gravity/PA have shown we can have 50M OW's in October. We had a 48M OW in 2003 that adjusts to 63M. Also post MJII on November 25. Edited November 15, 2013 by Neo

starkster
Why the budget cut down ? Nothing went wrong. Truth be told, the reduction in budget will be offset by the fact that producers are planning to shoot outside of L.A. and therefore receive better tax incentives; something it is said Abrams refused to do. It’s not as if their faith in the franchise has waive red.
CJohn
Why the budget cut down ? Nothing went wrong. Nope, not really. If you actually read the article instead of making comments like this, you would understand why they are reducing 20M in the budget.
