I hope this is highly emotional. I love Jackman's Wolverine, but they need to give closure to his character.

I'm willing to bet Old Man Logan is going to be this movie.

Hopefully there's no incestuous Hulks. :P

I also hope he doesn't become an adamantium statue either. . . .

^^^^

So true. I'm very curious to see, what if any, reference Wade/Deadpool makes about Wolverine. Even an off handed mention. The events of XM:DoFP could easily allow for some smoothing over of some things making XM-O:Wolverine still quite relevant.

Just the middle claw is out, it's kind of like a middle finger, that's the first time they've done that joke

I don't think it was 'just' the R rating that made DEADPOOL work. It's a combination of things. I don't think Wolverine as a character has those.

Wolverine has been watered down a lot over the last two decades. His roots are at least very violent where the 'R' rating would serve his more berserker rage and reflect the violence that was often shown in Wolverine comics of the 80/90s period.

It was said he't never work as an Avenger cause he was too uncontrollable and violent...back then. Now you have Deadpool as an Uncanny Avenger.

Wolverine as an R rated film works, it'll just not be an R cause of the same reasons as Deadpool.

If they were casting a younger Hugh Jackman I could sincerely see it. He is a good actor and has proved that with his recent films, but I want someone that actually looks like Wolverine, not Hugh.

Tom Hardy is too old to take over. He's 37 years old and while it has the looks, he wouldn't be able to pull it off for more than ten years unlike Hugh did. They need to cast a dude that it's 30 years old at max right now. Possibly an unknown like Hugh was back then.

HAVE YOU SEEN the R rated cut of Wolverine that was released on Blu ?

I can't remember if it was rated r or not. The film is quite forgettable though, which is a shame.
