forg
The movie had impressive legs. Not many movies with a 20M opening make it to 90M. The power of a good release date
forg
Sexy legs for Captain Phillips and Gravity! The Heat at $159.5, looks it's gonna miss $160m since it's already on its way out of the theaters but great run

The Heat at $159.5, looks it's gonna miss $160m since it's already on its way out of the theaters but great run I know that the Summer Game is long over, but I'd like to point out my final guesstimate for THE HEAT was 160m.

Punishment
Yep, thats why CS is a joke. It's polled from only 5 theaters. Wow, never new that - good info edit: Wait, this article http://articles.latimes.com/print/2009/oct/13/entertainment/et-bigpicture13 (old dated 2009) and Wikipedia both state that CS is in 25 large cities. I can't find any info on the CS site though that tells how many cities/theaters that they actually survey? Another article from last year: http://articles.latimes.com/2012/jul/24/entertainment/la-et-ct-cinemascore-public-20120723 "CinemaScore calculates its grades by polling moviegoers in 25 cities across the nation" So I think they actually are in 25 locations LOL; yet another article: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/cinemascore-retreat-as-studios-turn-648341 says: "Every Friday, they dispatch pollsters to about five theaters around the country" Now I am officially confused Edited November 12, 2013 by Punishment

Blankments
Also the F did The Express get into 2808 theaters? Sounds like something that would be limited release. I remember seeing that movie with my aunt!
Captain Craig
I did horribly on the Derby. Didn't think Thor 2 would do so well. Thor 2 - $41.9 Question is will you learn from your mistake when it comes time for CWS in April??
Walt Disney
I know that the Summer Game is long over, but I'd like to point out my final guesstimate for THE HEAT was 160m. So you just missed it. Tough loss
