Can't believe how close is this year's awards race. Nothing is still locked to happen at the Oscars. That's incredible! The only categories that seem to be locked are sound, editing and visual effects for Gravity.

Well, that's why people don't take Globes seriously. Globes are to the Oscars what Nicki Minaj is to Dionne Warwick. A more vulgar, more wasted and more corruptible version.

Blame the GG's for that - Sony submitted AH to the drama category and the Foreign Press put it in comedy.

For an actress that speaks out so much that women in Hollywood aren't taken very seriously coming out drunk or acting drunk is a disgrace.

 

That's ridiculous.

 

The Globes are one big party for all of these millionaires and billionaires.  This is the time for them to cut loose and have fun.  Emma Thompson being drunk or acting it was funny and it was loose and it was fun.  I think you guys need to lighten up.  Life's serious enough when you are working and dealing with your family and such.  An awards night where you get to dress up and eat, drink and be merry is not the time to be conservative.  

 

I thought the Globes were great.  They mean nothing in terms of Oscar but they so much more fun to sit through.  Oscar is serious and people are uptight.  Globes are a vodka fest.  

 

Globes are a day in the life of Jordan Belfort.  Oscars are a day in the life Solomon Northup.
