Some studios love to track films to the last moment.

WB and Fox are the most famous.Sony use to stop early but not so much anymore.

And I'm surprised that Escape Plan is being tracked as Lions tends to stop early also.

It's just like cinemascore.  They get the # Tarzan saw it... multiply that by the number of theaters its in...  double it because its so low... add in the current price of crude oil... release it.
