So long as the pacing's consistent and doesn't crawl, I can live with this.

Yeah, it's all bou tthe pacing. I was alittle taken aback..that seems awful long for a spy thriller...but let's see.

I hate it when people bitch about a film's runtime before seeing the movie. The wierd thing is recently usually it's that the runtime is too short.

As the great  producer David O Sleznick once said, a film can be too short at three hours, and too long at ninty minutes.

From the trash rag Daily Mail, no less.

If there's any rags that have Bond access, it's the Mail. Plus we did hear about 174 mins before from Universal Russia.

Anyway, Super Bowl spot incoming.

So so excited for this. But honestly, looking back at Casino Royale, Craig is borderline looking too old to play this character

I mean even in Skyfall part of the story was that he'd 'lost a step', and that was 8 years ago

I have to keep reminding people that The Daily Mail broke Daniel Craig's casting as Bond...as well as the recent news...so they clearly have connections.  I believe it all.

I wonder if Bond will go back to the Moore and Brosnan era tone when they recast and reboot the series. Maybe not as outlandish as Moonraker or Die Another Day but closer to Goldeneye.

I’d like them to inject just a little more fun into the movies and not be SOOOO serious. I think they balanced that pretty well in Brosnan’s first two movies.

While not scientific, the upvotes and comments for NTTD’s Super Bowl spot on Reddit seem to indicate a better reception than any other movie that was advertised during the game.

https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/

NTTD has 5.4k upvotes compared to Black Widow’s 644. Even in r/marvelstudios, BW has “only” 1.2k upvotes.

Seems to me that this film is going to balance the fun and dramatic fairly well. There's a real sense of adventure in the marketing for No Time To Die that was missing in the Sam Mendes films (not that lack of adventure was a detriment in Skyfall)

Good thing this is Craig's last outing.one more and he would be in Roger Moore/AVTAK territory.

Craig's timeline is certainly odd - in CR he was a newbie and they went out of their way to play up his inexperience, then just two films later they went out of their way to say he was past it. Hard to complain when they're two of the best entries in the series but the old timer stuff should probably have been saved for his final outing...
