Some bad takes inc:  The The Spy Who Loved Me and License to Kill are both better than Goldfinger.   Still gotta re-watch Secret Service, TB, FRWL, YOLT, and Dr. No

I've been keeping a rank as I rewatch them all and i'm just about to start on the craigs but right now License to Kill is my #1. I know it's just a Miami Vice plot with Bond but whatever movie rocks. Robert Davi is one of the best villains. the women are fine as hell. Dalton's a badass etc etc.

Don't forget the handsome young Benicio Del Toro

The Billie Eilish song for this is okay but it's a reminder that in the new era of artsy Bond (not a bad thing!) we are probably never getting a leaning into the fun theme like Nobody Does It Better anytime soon. Spy is a good one.

honestly with getting Chris Cornell and Jack White for his first two theme songs i'd bet originally their plan was for all of Craig's themes to be rock songs because he's the edgy bond. probably didn't carry on because a) rock became commercially unviable in the 2010s b) the jack white song is fucking awful c) adele showed up and she was like, designed in a lab to do a bond song.

Skyfall really threw everything off, the last two themes have sounded like the Mel Brooks parody version of Skyfall. Everything about Skyfall is a hard pivot away from Quantum really, from cinematography to tone to theme. I didn't love the leaked Radiohead theme either though tbh.

Probably not gonna reach the heights of Casino Royale and Skyfall's RT score, but I think this is sounding like somewhere in the low to mid 80% range.

Much better than Spectre and QoS for sure

Length, the villain(s), and the plot seem to be the issues

Early reactions are good but I was expecting "best of the decade, a perfect and amazing sendoff" tweets given this was supposed to have Oscar hype and all that. Should still be alot better than Spectre. Guess this post is pointless given we will see in seven minutes.

Live action Archer movie? Say no more fam.

I did a double take at this.

So like does that mean it’s all about James Bond and his mother issues? Or that it’s darkly funny? @ViewerAnon help a girl out?

Craig’s Bond run has two of the best themes (You Know My Name, Skyfall) and three of the worst (Another away to Die, The Writing’s on the Wall, No Time to Die)
