Avengers Endgame: Countdowns

Pass Avengers Infinity War Domestic to $678,815,483-$678,815,483

Pass Avatar Domestic to $760,507,625-$760,507,625

Pass Avatar in South Korea Admissions 13,624,328-12,288,171

Hit $500M in China- $392,000,000

Pass Titanic WorldWide 2,187,463,944-$2,187,463,944

Record breaking start in China, HK, Indonesia and SK. China shattered the previous midnight record by 3 times and became the first movie to have a day over $100M. In SK, it beat the IW by 36%+ and it also beat the local biggie for the OD record with 1,335,533 admissions. HK it set a new OD and single day record while in Indonesia it doubled the previous OD record!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh how I’ve missed these!!

Just "a bit"?

Since I thought Infinity War was smashing, even a "bit" better would mean it is aces with me.

Summary of what I read in those 100+ threads:

1B WW is more likely to happen (already beaten records in China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, etc.)

300M DOM could also happen or can get really close to it

Excellent news! Big thanks! I see on RT that reviews are super strong too. :bravo:

@iHeartJames Agreed, SW for the win!

At a point where dropping below 94/95% or an 8 avg looks statistically unlikely - especially with so many mainstream and Top Critics already weighing in - which are more likely to come in later and bring down averages.

A negative 2 star review from Katie Walsh (RT critic for Tribune News Service).

Walsh gave IW a 2.5

Different strokes. A number of critics liked Endgame more than Infinity War.

So of the rest of SH flicks this year: Dark Phoenix, Far From Home, Hobbs and Shaw; which one has potential to get a higher RT than Endgame?

Hobbs and Shaw has Black Superman.

It is the one.

Spoiler

I expect Far From Home to be the closest in reviews

Joker. It is the kinda shit thats like catnip for critics. Thats a movie that I think will either have a very high RT score or a low RT score, nothing in the middle

Far from home, but nothing is touching this review wise imo. My predictions.

Far From home = 87%.

Dark Phoenix = 46%

New Mutants = 65%

Joker = 83%

Can someone that saw end game  PM me and tell me if watching Captain America the first avenger, the first two Thor movies, or iron man 3  enhance the viewing experience of endgame? Ive seen the other movies and just finished the first avengers and am now watching age of ultron.

Yes one reviewer told that if you want to enhance your Endgame experience you should watch all Marvel movies or watch screen junkies video about 22 Marvel movies explained in short

Half of the population is 5 years younger than they should be. Wonder if they'll explore that?

That’s the main dynamic I’m curious about.

One, because it seems narratively wonky going into the Spidey movie (all of his friends are his age, so I guess the snap hit his school?)

I also feel like there could have been an interesting moral dilemma if they had to reset the timeline to save half the population, but seems like they avoided that altogether.  Would make the Stark sacrifice more interesting if he has to give up not only the life he built but the existence of it entirely.

Probably too heavy for a marvel movie.

This is why I don’t care for time travel in films. It messes up a lot of stuff and gives little explanation.

Did DOFP ever explain how Wolverine prevented all of X3 from happening?
