Anyway, whatever record Endgame ends beating or not, the IW/Endgame combo will be for the record books and pop culture history.

How many  sequels/movies go up after making almost 700m dom and 2b WW ?

Well make 680m dom and 2B ww with your first movie to begin with.

Increase in China will be larger than increase in DOM, in absolute numbers. Now that's a fun fact

So this will seriously take down "Avatar"?

I know this would happen some day but seeing such a mediocre movie doing it - that hurts.

"Endgame" was a huge disappointment for me. So many great decisions and stories in the movie but many of them executed so poorly. This could have been an epic milestone but ended up being just another Marvel movie.

Friends of mine asked me to see the movie with them but I could not bring myself to see this thing in theatres again. Once is enough.

On the one hand people are constantly claiming about increasing ticket prices but on the other hand are flocking out to see something like this multiple times. So I guess the prices are still fine.

For me Avatar is the definition of mediocre movie. So... different people have different tastes. This is at least culmination of the best shared universe full of emotions with highly quotable and memorable villain and plethora of lovable characters.

There’s an Adjuster option in the upper right corner of most pages, you can adjust the numbers to ticket prices of different years or estimated tickets sold.

Beware though that Mojos ticket numbers are highly highly inaccurate. They dont account for PLF boosts and just go for the average ticket price, so you get Avatar at 90M+ tickets, which is impossible since that film was heavily inflated by 3D. something Mojo just doesnt consider.

So for very rough estimates the ticket counter is solid, but its not accurate.

Correct.  3D, IMAX, PLF, children's tickets, movies that over index in higher prices cities and states, or lower prices cities and states etc - none of that is accounted for

It's all calculated by ticket avg which with a site that big it's pretty much the only way to go when you ask for instant ticket numbers from a database of probably tens of thousands of films when studios, theater, the MPAA etc don't release admission reports.

I'm glad the OG6 seem to be genuine friends.

I wonder if that continuity will be replicated with later teams, and if not, will it affect the quality of future movies.

I can remember a time when saying your honest opinion was okay.

Why is it hating to say that the movie disappointed me?

How am I a troll when I have seen 19 out of 21 movies of the MCU in cinemas and had high expectations for "Endgame"?

I am not a hater - I just think that "Endgame" is not the movie this franchise deserved as a conclusion. That's all. For me it was like having a light beer. It somehow is okay - but it's not the real deal.

Just watched this one last weekend. And I have to say, man, what a terrible movie..

I never liked the Marvel movies all that much, but I always thought that each of the Avengers films were good movies in their own right, but this one just falls flat. And I went into this one thinking it would be good.

The plot is a really convoluted mess and it just completely fails to create any tension. Unlike Infinity War, it also just doesn't take itself seriously enough in regards to its themes and subject matter. It actually reminds me somewhat of Transformers: The Last Knight in how disjointed it is. For most of this movie I was just bored and thinking to myself what the hell I'm watching.

The ending is decently done and might stick with you if you are invested in these movies, but it also feels alot worse executed than it could have been. The final fight is sort of fun, but more in a "these are some pretty lights" kind of way and doesn't hold any emotional weight.

I'm glad it's looking more and more like this movie won't overtake Avatar WW, as I would hate for this to be the highest grossing movie of all time. Infinity War deserved the gross that this movie made more than Endgame does.
