I am one of the ones who is excited.

I like the character, I like the actor. I think both got screwed in the earlier films. I am happy bcs I hope to get to see finally something 'more'

But as I think both got screwed and for other reasons I can understand why other might not share my optimism 😉

Hawkeye is great, and it's awesome to see him again. The moment he showed up in the teaser, that was the best part of the whole thing.

personally I thought the trailer was ok, not as good as IW's. the first half was effective, the 2nd not so much. I must say I think they should have gone ballsy with this and waited till jan/early Feb and released a mind blowing trailer then

Imagine a world where Avengers breaks IW's record and then Pikachu, Aladdin and Godzilla all open to 100M+ in a row.

It'd be like the box office on viagra.

The IW trailer was more epic etc. etc. but this ... is completely different from the usual Marvel teaser

Love this trailer!! Intriguing without spoiling anything. Hawkeye looks awesome, can’t believe I just said that. Lol at the title.

I agree but I think they did the best they could. They can't really show a big moment like with IW's trailer.

Dropping a trailer, (unannounced, no less) for one of the most anticipated movies of next year on a Friday morning when everyone is either going to school or work, and still setting viewing records is Marvel just flexing their nuts for the fun of it because they can.

I want to say that the box office might reach 12 billion though

Dare I say... it's much more boring? Records don't mean shit anymore.

Is it conceivably possible for Disney to have THREE $700 million domestic films next year? (EG, LK, SW9)

They will assuredly have 5 flicks opening with $100 million or more, maybe 6 or 7 or even 8.

And 5 films over $500 million domestically is not completely out of the question. (EG, SW9, LK for sure and TS4 and F2 possible).

I like this way of revealing the title much better than dry announcement that title is ____ followed by a teaser weeks or months later. I hope everyone adopts this system.

I think the timing was better for views actually.  It’s more prime time on the other side of the Globe, and as for the US being around people at work makes it just as easy for people to chat about
