filmnerdjamie
Side-note: Don't care if anyone laughs. This is the summer US audiences start cooling off Transformers. Sub $300M gross. Won't matter since it will still do $800-$900M overseas.

CJohn
There's a definite air of On Stranger Tides to it. DOM, sure, but OS? I think it will decrease greatly in Europe, even if huge increases will happen in Russia, Latin America and Asia. CJohn
I like pie(?) I didn't understood why did you suddenly talked about TF4 in the Weekend Numbers thread. Just that
John Marston
There is too little competition for TF 4 to go below 300 m. It will make it over that mark imo

I think it's reasonable that AOE hits $1 billion with $275-290m domestically.
filmnerdjamie
There's a definite air of On Stranger Tides to it. Once you get to Part 4s, generally speaking the audience gets tired and moves on. Unless it has something new to offer. Wahlberg and Dinobots doesn't strike me as enough, despite his royal Marky-Markyness is a draw.

Jack Nevada
Arnold Schwarzenegger going "NGYAAAH HNNGGGH GNYAARH" is one of the great pleasures in life. That and Paul Verohoven.
LexJoker
Speaking of Batman, Justice League WAR is pretty good. It felt more like a Marvel movie than DC. Surprised you liked it so much.
Cmasterclay
I think TF4 does fall to around 320, but I think the change from Shia to a legit superstar in Wahlberg is being severely underestimated. I'd say it was liable to pull an OST if Shia was still the lead and it had all the same Autobots and Decepticons, but with a whole new cast of Transformers pretty much and a big money lead I think it will feel fresh enough to alot of people to stay over 300, but not too much more. Ezen Baklattan
The first direct competition in nearly three months opens to over $60m, and Frozen is still going to drop less than 30%.
