John Rambo
Top 5 Weekend: 1- The Avengers: Age of Ultron, 128908 admissions, -43%. Cume: 1563997 admissions, $12.3m 2- Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), 95565 admissions, new, around $0.8m 3- Sin Hijos (local movie), 87050 adm, new, around $0.6m 4- Fast & Furious 7, 41095 adm, -45%. Cume: 3279355 adm, $25.6m 5- Run All Night, 17467adm, -49%. Cume: 133722 adm The Avengers 2 won again, its fourth weekend on top, but it still needs a little bit more than 1m admissions to reach The Avengers level. Of course it won't happen, I am starting to doubt that it will even reach 2m admissions. It should end at around $15m. Tickets are so high this year that it will reach the All Time Top Ten with that gross (now it stands at the 15th place) Mad Max did ok but I don't think it will do more than $2m bye the end of its run. Fast & Furious 7 passed Toy Story 3 in admissions entering the All Time Top 5. Next weekend should be good because Monday, 25th is a holiday. Tomorrowland opens on Thursday trying to score on the long weekend. John Rambo
Mission Impossible 2 sold 1268623 admissions back in 2000 How is it possible ??? keysersoze123
How is it possible ??? Spiderman 2002 grossed 2.2million with 1.5m admissions whereas MI:2 grossed 7m with 1.2m admissions in 2000 That is because of exchange rate. In 2000 1 peso was worth a dollar while in 2002 3.6 pesos per dollar. check historical rates for details. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Historical_exchange_rates_of_Argentine_currency

James
Wild Tales just debuted here and it pretty much bombed, but I'm curious if it is any good. If so, I'd like to see it.
Hernan Gonzalez
Wild Tales just debuted here and it pretty much bombed, but I'm curious if it is any good. If so, I'd like to see it. Well, it is good IMO. In total six or seven tales are told during the movie. Some are better than other. My favorite was the one with Ricardo Darin. It did relatively well in Spain mostly because it was produced by Almodovar. Here you can find some opinions on an argentinean site. They clearly liked it (8.3/10) http://www.cinesargentinos.com.ar/pelicula/5052-relatos-salvajes/ Edited June 15, 2015 by Henry loves Dinos

Great Opening Week for Jurassic World, 10% better than AoU. It should reach 2m admissions and $15m by the end of its run. It enters the Top Ten for the year in only 6 days. The America Cup was not an issue for the dinosaurs!!! San Andreas suffered the arrival of JW falling more than 50% but it is doing so much more than expected, it should finish its run over The Hobbit: BotFA and Cinderella. And also it is already the 4th film of its kind, only behind The Day After Tomorrow (1595436 admissions), 2012 (1052616 adm) and Armaggedon (884783 adm). It should beat the last one before the end of its run. 2015 – Top Fifteen Movies Admissions Gross Price 1 Fast & Furious 7 3355362 $26.1 m $7.79 2 The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron 1868275 $14.6 m $7.81 3 Fifty Shades of Grey 1246850 $9.0 m $7.18 4 Cinderella 872842 $5.3 m $6.07 5 Penguins of Madagascar 846361 $5.3 m $6.27 6 The Hobbit: BotFA 821154 $6.0 m $7.26 7 San Andreas 808226 $6.1 m $7.58 8 Taken 3 781890 $4.9 m $6.27 9 Jurassic World 698285 $5.3 m $7.59 10 Night at the Museum 3 555466 $3.4 m $6.03 11 Home 510713 $3.3 m $6.46 12 Abzurdah (*) 510296 $3.3 m $6.41 13 SpongeBob 2 487045 $3.1 m $6.39 14 Sin Hijos (*) 425624 $2.5 m $5.87 15 Focus 425604 $2.7 m $6.34 The Avengers AoU finally passed Iron Man 3 to become the second best movie in the MCU, but far away form the first one: Marvel Comic Universe Admissions Gross The Avengers 2675k $17.3m TA: AoU 1868k $14.6m IM3 1860k $13.6m Spider-Man 1690k $2.2m Spider-Man 2 1590k $3.5m Spider-Man 3 1400k $4.6m TASM 1190k $8.3m CA:TWS 806k $4.6m Thor 2 780k $5.6m TASM 2 775k $4.6m GotG 771k $4.7m IM2 622k $2.6m CA:TFA 561k $3.5m IM 425k $1.5m Thor 383k $2.4m

Hernan Gonzalez
Better opening than most Pixar films. You are right! And this is just getting started!!! July is always the best month of the year in that market due to the kids winter holidays!! So far last Saturday was the best of the year, even with Argentina playing for the America Cup!!! I am sure Inside Out is going to have a run so much better than people thought!! On the other hand, competition is coming on Thursday with Dragon Ball and next week The Minions are ready to battle for the holidays crown!! 2015 is so far the best year in argentinean box office history and it looks like nothing can stop it!!!
