It is very good! DM2 sold 402k admissions during the whole weekend and The Minions should pass that today. It should enter the Top 5 OW in history! Top 10 locked!

Awesome OW for The Minions!!! Fourth OW of all time!!! If it wasn't because the America Cup Final killed Saturday Box Office it could have been number 2 OW of all time!!! Sunday was fantastic for them! The best Sunday ever if I am not mistaken!! Holidays started last Friday in some provinces so mid week numbers are going to be better than usual!!

The Minions has already passed JW, IO and AoU! It should end this weekend close to 2m admissions! Second movie for 2015, behind Fast 7, in only 2 weeks!!! Full numbers in around 10 hours

It will have the best second weekend ever here. It could become the most atended movie of all time (next two weekends are the july holidays, the most lucrative time for cinema and it will have 2 million admissions on Monday.

May I ask why Minions is doing such insane number here? Do (little)kids rule the cinemas in this country? I know Minions are cute and all but to have the movie made for pre-school children as the biggest movie of all time is just weird. Minions is doing crazy number in my country too but at least we have a few movies made for grown-ups above it.

 

My question doesn't mean as an insult or anything. I'm just very curious. Frozen was phenomenal in Japan but at least it did look beautiful and got some catchy songs as a draw. Minions is just cute and funny at best.

Oh WOW.. That explains why it's been making some crazy numbers in Spanish-speaking country. Universal sure know how to sell their product.

 

Yeah.. I think I can understand how girls of all age can adore a movie like this but girls alone can't make it the biggest movie of all time. I'm surprised by how popular it is among GA because it's making more money than those so-called event movies when it looks nothing like a must-see movie to me.
