It depends on what WB and WAG want the focus on the Looney Tunes. Having other Warner owned characters might detract from the Looney Tunes. I would like to see the Animaniacs feature in the film.

Pretty sure they're just shooting well in advance cause of scheduling reasons. Disney does that all the time with their live-action movies these days and WB does it every now and then for their movies too.

I think the animation will take about a year, but I don't think it can be done until the live action is done.
