I suspect it wouldn't matter.  They'd still have to demolish the whole site considering the size of the towers they now intend to build.

Unrelated, did Boss Baby have previews on the weekend?

I'm thinking around $10m for the weekend.  Theatres seem to have given to much capacity to Power Rangers and Life.

Why don't you guide me @DeeCee and say how much is that in dollars for Life and Power Rangers?

Note the cumes here.  BatB had Wednesday night previews as detailed about by @Rth and the Beast plus a series of special screenings at the 2000 seat State Theatre in Sydney all last week.  Life and PR both had limited previews and Boss Baby had a big weekend of previews last weekend.

Also, Logan and Kong were both still more then half of both Life and PR.

around 12.5-13

Life slightly ahead of GGPR

Do you get the impression theatres didn't give enough capacity to BatB? A lot of BatB sessions were sold but next door there were half empty screenings of Life and PR.

Looks like Sunday is going to be huge as well.

A number of theatres added sessions, even late night sat. BATB was given a lot big screens, one example even though it was only allocated one Vmax @ George St it  was also given the biggest cinema in the complex (that seats way more than Vmax 1&2 combined)

A week ago after the Domestic opening of BatB I was thinking the double VMAX theatres would at most have 1 session each for Life and PR. I was surprise when they split the second screen between Life/PR.
