Fun fact : I seriously considered putting it against titanic or avatar it's been that leggy

Given the content, I don't think school holidays is actually making a real difference.

Weekend 10 was bigger than weekend 7. Weekdays are still strong.

$2.5m 10th week.

$55m total? Or is this just getting out of hand.

Weekly Results

BR did another 1m during weekends...…. now over 45.5m :shades:

I also appreciate that we had two films do $10m weeks, yet a $2.5m, 5th placing film in its 10th week is still the only commentary we have😛😊

So here's the All-Time Top 10. At this point its a foregone conclusion that it's getting there - thoughts on where BR could land?

1. AVATAR: $115,767,2442

2. STARWARS: TFA:  $94,034,6763

3. AVENGERS 3: $61,865,0834

4. STARWARS: TLJ: $58,093,9325

5. TITANIC: $57,663,3056

6. THE AVENGERS: $53,255,1387

7. JURASSIC WORLD: $52,945,6378

8. DEATHLY HALLOWS 2: $52,611,2769

9. ROGUE ONE: $51,458,58710

10. SHREK: $50,388,327

9th should be achievable, any higher and I just don't know..

Will also see Shrek 2 leave the Top 10 after 15 years.

That Avatar number is eye popping!

Even more so when you realise that the number 1 film before its release was Titanic.

Avatar doubled the all-time number 1.

Using adjusted figures it was estimated that avatar needed 120m to sell as many tickets as titanic.

also consider we normally use 10% to work out the US total. Ie. the 115m in Australia is equivalent of doing 1.15b in the US.

crazy performance. And it only opened with 11m!

So using 10% BR should’ve done more like $500m in NA... absolute over performance by Aussie then!

How often do we get a film that opens to only 6m and then make it past 50m...

BR now just shy of $48m.

If it continues to hold like it has been it should cross $50m by close of play Wednesday (😍😍😍) but more importantly pass Shrek 2 some time next Friday/Saturday to enter to the All-time Top 10.

Unbelievable.
