Tickets for €3(€5 in 3d)

 

 

A good initiative, but programmed (intentionally?) in a week with weak movies. It would have been better to choose maybe a week rich in terms of programming. (Godzilla opens on may 15, and will be in discount only for a weekday)

At least during the period January-April 2014 the box office was up 13% compared to the same period in 2013

Unfortunately if we remove the data of first four weeks of january that had a 30% increase over 2013 due to a strong local comedy, boom of Wolf of WS and Frozen's staying power (over 5m adm combined), the result is very different in negative, above all for Hollywood's. Other interesting is the success of french movies (Belle & Sebastien had more admissions than Cap 2 and Noah) and the disaster of animated released in 2014.

We waiting for a very weak year. I can't think Godzilla will do great numbers, Maleficent maybe, Xmen not for sure. I predict no movies passes 10M€ until november, but i hope i'm wrong

How to train your dragon 2 will make more than €10m in August.
