Scorsese's Bringing Out the Dead might be my favorite Cage movie. (But, I have yet to see Vampire's Kiss, Wild at Heart, or Adaptation). The man is great in it too, although his performance is more quiet and sympathetic and less "Cage Rage".

Now, we all love to hate on him but I fucking love Nicolas Cage. He's an uncompromising performer and an exciting screen presence. There's just no one else like him.

Cage can act very well when he wants to and with the right director/material.He can also do some brilliant gonzo performances where he's just fucking around but in a wonderful way.But he can also tank it horribly like few others can.

Yeah, that is a great one. It's a better performance than the one he won an Oscar for, tbh.
