goal of the post was simply to show that suggesting jurassic park was more impressive than EG isn't trolling

Jurassic World did 225m in 2015. Jurassic Park would have done about 50m if not less in China

Dunno what you are on. Had a movie called Jurassic Park come out today and become the biggest movie of all time it would have definitelly done more than 50m in China.

It absolutely is trolling . magically adding Chinese numbers like 625m is stupid.

You are trolling or just being purposefully stupid. I don't know what trolling is exactly but you're spouting absolute nonsense.

Check out the other ones in the edited post. It looks so crisp on youtube and it's not even the official HDR grading supervised by James Cameron.

50m over 20 years ago. Inflation adjusted it's 100m. Don't be silly.

Damn!

Can't wait for the 4k HDR re-release.

Gotta be honest, AVATAR had the best visuals of any movie you can ever see, it's really remarkable that the movie still holds on after 10 years of release

Is this because no one can reach JC when it comes to visuals or because studios became lazy and insist on using crappy or mediocre CGi?

Except some movies of course which have very good CGI.

Jurrasic Park would have atleast done 250m in China if not or more.

How can you apply inflation when there are no screens?

You inflate the buildings themselves with helium and we all know that when helium combine with steel, it creates a flat white membrane that can be used to project images.  This is how China is expanding its cinema market, through literal inflation.

Yes and avatar would have done 2b in China I heard this before. We'll find out soon enough in 2.5 or 3.5 years.

just as a reminder the highest grossing film before Avatar in China made $66m.

Avatar tripled (x3)(300%+) that number and made over 200m
