Definitely, Super performing in some countries, and SK  picking up. India is going crazy for it. And hopefully we get 200-300+M out of China in the end.

James Cameron last 2 (21X) ( 10x).  Avatar 2 should be good for 5X-7X I think.. Nothing is a lock but never bet against Cameron film holding with a slower start than expected.

I dont think you have to worry about that brother Bruce-If folks continue to buy tickets through January-FEB..    Im hoping  for over 700M Domestic.

600M Domestic and 2.1-2.4B WW is still great for a sequel 13 yrs out of action though. We can do more though.

 

Always remember Titanic opened to 28M lol, Avatar to only 77

 

For some reason folks always come a running in the long haul for Cameron Epics.

Just FYI Cameron said this in November. It was on the Smartless podcast, at around 53 minutes he talks about how Avatar 2 isn't quite finished yet and is coming out in December. This month he talked about how excited he is to finish directing Avatar 4. Of course the naysayers are already declaring it dead, still betting against James Cameron like that has ever worked out well for anyone.

They never learn my brother.. Im looking at the milestones and Avatar 2 has been out of commission for 13 years. 

The funny thing is Avatar had huge films running against it and chugged right to 760M on its first Run.

The naysayers keep forgetting this film is just as well received with none of that. All rival Studios ran away and 

gave A2 clear sailing until Feb.   

So maybe its a bit too soon to be saying A2 cant win domestically or wont have the legs of Maverick.
