Yep might be Even less but definitely 1.1-1.2b sounds about right..They likely are already green lighting  part 4 right now.

I hope so. Cameron does sequels VERY well. I want A4 and A5 to start production before A3, in case A3 tanks. lol

Assuming A2 makes $35m on Monday and using RO as a model:

Mon: $35m (+116% LW)

Tues: $24.5m (+33.8%)

Wed: $19.6m (+36%)

Thurs: $18.2m (+24.7%)

Friday: $20m (+2.5%)

Sat: $16m (+6.6%)

Sun: $18.24m (-38.%)

3rd Weekend: $54.24m (-15.25%)

Dom Total: $413.22m

Personally I think A2 is going to outperform RO on daily increases/drops so these figures represent the lowest.

I think A2 will stay flat or increase on 3rd weekend.

The consensus on WOKJ is $550-$600M....I'm leaning in that direction. I think this will have better legs than RO.

I will likely go see it a 3rd time tomorrow. It was incredible, IMO. Not the Movie of the Year but in my Top 3.

I am so happy the 2nd weekend totals were stronger than the early estimates, despite the winter storm affecting most of the US.

The better A2 does, globally, the more likely we will see A4 and A5 get the greenlight.

Good to see you brother Lil Mac. The domestic is going to be very interesting if we get a Cameron level multiplier.

Going to try and get my 4dx 3d showing for my second viewing this weekend

Avatar 2 best film I've seen since A1

Best films this year for me:

1. Avatar 2 ..The Way of Water

2. Maverick

3. Werewolf by Night

(4) Good Nurse

(5) DS2

(6) Black  Adam

Much much better.

5.5-6.3 multiplier is where I'm hoping it ends up Lil Mac.

Of course Wokj is going to lowball a Cameron epic.

Heh heh.

I’m debating 4DX for my 3rd viewing tomorrow. I saw BP2 on 4DX and the theater had it cranked up to level 11/10.  It was too much jolting. I went home with a headache. Lol.

Nice list. This slow workweek has allowed me to catch up on shows and movies. Maybe I’ll look into Good Nurse.

Anyway, here’s hoping to continued success for A2 at the boxoffice!

Well, as part owner of WOKJ, we love Cameron. Lol

Hah hah cool Lil Mac.

I rem alot of attacks and fights back in the day.

21+m estimates. Hopefully this goes up in the actuals. Man I think A2 is going to have serious legs.  Looks like this is going to take the slot of Titanic WW. Wow

Yes indeed brother lil Mac. We need this JC saga to be completed lol. No flops or disappointments needed 😂.  So sorry man they had the settings for movement too ruff..Yikes hope it's not like that at my 4dx showing.🤕

Hopefully they have adjusted it. So far I have enjoyed 4dx with Godzilla 2 and Fast and the furious spin off Hobbs and Shaw. Godzilla 2 4dx 3d showing was so good it made it nearly as good as my Super Imax 3D  showing of Avatar in2009

I feel A2 Should be at 500m domestic I think by mid to 2nd week of Jan and hopefully  around 1.4-1.5b WW

I've been thinking: is Cameron now the first over 60 billie maker?

Almost, Chris Buck did it with Frozen 2 (although he's co-director with the younger Jennifer Lee)

Raimi came close this year with DS2.

Am I missing anyone? Glanced at the over 1 billion movie list and I believe Cameron is the oldest director to do it.

He'll probably become the first over 70 to do it with A3

Also the first to 1 billion with Titanic, first to nearly 3B with Avatar.. Not sure where A2 will end up, but it sure would be nice if it made 3BWW :)
