The Horror of Lucas Films
I'm shocked at how great the cast is. This movie must be something special to draw so much talent.
The Horror of Lucas Films
I hope it won't be Rated R. If the movie sucks, at least teens will still show up, now if it's great, it can draw both Adults and Teens and increase the potential even more. I thought teens flocked to R rated horror movies more than any other genre.

You thought wrong. There's a reason why Rated R Horror movies always flop harder than PG13 ones.

Krissykins
And I don’t think this needs to be R. The “Don’t Breathe”, “Evil Dead” on the poster makes me think they will. But both The Grudge films and The Ring films were PG-13 and made $670m between 2002-2006.
Krissykins
Whoops just realised they confirmed its R at NYCC.
Boxofficerules
I’m assuming the trailer will drop with Zombieland 2. lets hope this is better than Rings.

It was sold on the Stranger Things vibe, that's why it appealed so much to teenagers. The Grudge is a PG13 property, and I think they will regret turning it into Rated R. Teens can forgive a bad Horror movies, adults doesn't.

It's far harder to have a sucesfull franchise these days without good reviews than it once was.
