I'm really underwhelmed by this trailer. After the emotional rollercoaster of Toy Story 3, this film just seems inconsequential. Yeah it's nice to see the characters (and Bo) again, but this "rescue forky" plotline isn't grabbing me.

I'd say Incredibles 2 is the best comparison overall. Same time of year and both nostalgic Pixar sequels. I'd say Finding Dory is the better true comp but it was a little too long ago, given current presale habits.

 Ahh gotcha. Yea me either. I didn't track non-MCU/SW movies before this year. Overall I'll probably be looking at Captain Marvel as a comp and a bit of Pikachu.

An some people here were saying TS4 would be a sub 250M dom because no one asked for that sequel. 

 

TS is TS. If they made a TS5 in 4 or 5 years, it would make tons of money too.

Agreed. It's not impossible, but I don't see it yet. 

 

However this does mean Frozen 2 actually has some competition for top dog now. (Domestically at least)
