Rsyu
I don't think this will cross $100 million in the domestic market. Somewhere over $90 million is the more likely outcome. Edge of tomorrow breakdown (unit: million) -Weekdays 11.71 7.17 (-38.8%) 4.956 (-30.8%) -Weekends 28.76 16.53 (-42.5%) 9.82 (-40.6%) 5.4 (-45.0%) The current total up to Wednesday of this week is $86,414,785. Overall Monday to Wednesday grosses saw a decline of 48.3%. A similar decline for thursday will see the total come to 86,908,117. Generally weekends have been weaker than weekdays for EoT so a similar harsher decline for weekends (hypothetically lets say 50%) will see a weekend gross of $2.7 million bringing the total up to $89.61 million. Even if it holds are better than this planet of the apes is dropping next week so unfortunately I don't see this crossing $100 million. Fake
It needs about 35% weekly drops to reach 100m. Plus WB have by now become experts in the pushing business so it will get there.

fmpro
After doing some research it could do close to 100 mill with a 815k thursday. It bounced back well Edited July 4, 2014 by fmpro
HesAPooka
it's tracking ahead of Elysium which went on to gross 93m so I doubt it will stop at 93-95. 100 is far more likely.

Godzilla
$350 would've been done without Japan, it'll do $370M WW. Not bad at all. Pretty much Pacific Rim in terms of Box office success.

Pretty much Pacific Rim in terms of Box office success. And that cost $22m more and is getting a sequel. I expect this to do well during home release and it will ultimately make WB coin and be a nice long term entry to their catalogue.

The Dark Alfred
Expected better in Japan, hope legs will push it towards 25m. Domestic 100m is pretty much given now, which is great.
