"Never underestimate Ritchie", the old Shay used to say, "The guy is a beast!".

This just looks like an ugly mess.

That's actually why they are having these screenings, so that people can actually see the movie and spread the word if it is good. Big gamble having 200 shows across the country at the same time, but it can work out really well if the movie is good like happened with Kong.

Two problems:

1. The Shay knows it is good.

2. If you're good at something, never do it for free.

But if this type of marketing works - let them go for it.

The movie is a mess.

He tried to mix Dragonheart with Sherlock Holmes and Lord of the Rings and it ended up being way too much.

I love pistachio ice cream, lasagna and egg rolls.  I don't want them all in the same bowl.

Somehow it is still less messy than Transformers, which seems impossible.

I don't mind when movies mix different genres. and Guy Ritchey is an expert at this. Sherlock Holmes worked mixing action with the period setting.

Sherlock Holmes mostly worked on the back of RDJ, he was even able to carry the sequel which was a mess.

So you think these super early screenings are gonna backfire?

It was meant to come out in summer 2016 and got pushed back three times, doesn't sound like a film that they have confidence in.
