He isn't saying MCU fans are Trump voters lmao.

I read it, he said "MCU has conditioned people for big strong saviour"

And that should theoretically be "fans" as they are most influenced.

Also cinema from day 1 has themes of one big saviour, MCU hasn't done something new. What an idiot.

You aren't at all reading the nuance of his argument. He's talking more about right-wing populism here and I don't think there's anything idiotic with what he's saying.

I think this place is one of the last places that nuance will ever be understood.

any idea what is December 3rd, some Oscar bait film ?

Dec 17th a placeholder for bumped films?

Might be for the David O. Russell movie with Bale/Robbie/JDW.

Nightmare Alley has also been announced for next December too by Searchlight so could also be that.

This was a really fascinating profile on Pete Docter that shows a lot of interesting stuff for Pixar and what's in development.

I get that this is for awards campaigning, but I wish these kinds of articles brought forth what Pixar is doing with their tech and research along with their creative work. Feels like at this point, they're doing more amazing work in the graphics side of things than film.
