Cars doesn't really require an auteur hand the way maybe they'd prefer another Nemo movie did. Stanton's working on TS5 right now so it probably won't be until he's done with that at least.

ANybody appointed to head Disney is going to do that.

I think Wilson would be a bad choice, he just does have the personality you need for that job.

Be afraid. Be very, very afraid

Why? Are we scared that a jump scare of him saying " STAY OFF THE DAMN WEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDD!" is going to show up at the Disney Parks? It makes sense why they would sign him to a massive contract. The only three personalities that drive ratings on ESPN are:him, Shannon Sharpe and Pat McAfee. ( And considering Shannon accidentally leaked a sex tape of himself and Pat is pulled between ESPN and his true love, WWE.  SAS is a no-brainer here)

As long as Smith  confines his activity to Disney's sports interests, I don't really care.

And I think that is the game plan for him anyway.

If you care about Pixar, this is kind of informative.

Without revealing detailed statistics, Wise spoke in terms of labor weeks. “Over the last ten years, a Pixar movie typically had a budget between 18,500 and 22,500 labor weeks. For Dream Productions, we had an initial budget of 10,000 [weeks].

Have to admit I'm quite relieved to see him reconfirm that. Been hearing too many rumors about Ice Age taking its place, Moana 2 only being the "first half" or that they might convert the Tiana series as well.
