LexJoker
35M in France 45M in SK at least these two markets won't disappoint. Those are BOLD predictions. Are assuming WOM will be very good, or normal?

edroger3
I saw Interstellar today in one of the first shows in the afternoon in my country and there were few seats occupied. Very disappointing because the movie is fantastic, especially in the second half, where there is a very surprising plot twist and a supporting role for a very famous actor ever mentioned before. I hope for a strong WoM: watch this movie is a good choice not only for Nolan brothers and sci-fi fans, but for all cinema lovers. Other, Interstellar opens on wednesday in USA in 249 theaters with a so-so 1,35M$ gross. Edited November 6, 2014 by edroger
James
It started it's run on Thursday, which is very unusual here. In fact, I can't remember another movie doing so. Looking at presales from the biggest theatre chain, it looks very good. I was hoping to see it this weekend, but the IMAX here is sold out for the next three days. Tried to get tickets for Monday in the evening, but that's sold out too. Tuesday is also almost sold out, so I decided to watch it in the afternoon, where it's close to selling out. I've never seen the IMAX so busy before, not even for Gravity. The other theatres also have sellouts, especially in the evenings. So far it looks strong. Can't wait for Monday to see some numbers. ACCA
yes. it wont come close to inception. its not that GA friendly as inception. China will be a factor in where it will end up with. This could be huge in China, as they have a huge on-going national space program, and correct me if I'm wrong, a big interest in space among the general population. RobinHood26
All things considered, if it goes under 700M WW it has to be considered a disappointment. What? no, far from.
