The YA adaptation has overtaken the lifetime total ofCatching Fire in Brazil, where it stands at $20.3m, as well as Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Central America, Portugal and Vietnam and a further 18 territories.

Latest figures put the film on $42.9m in the UK, $32.7m in Germany, $24.8m in Australia, $22.7m in France, $22.3m in Mexico, $18.3m in Scandinavia, $17m in CIS, $13.7m in Spain and $11m in Italy.

Mockingjay – Part 1 is due to land in China on February 8 and Japan on June 5.

CF made 23M in China, why It would make less?

 

From what I red on the China forums:

 

I will have a 10 day run (pulled out when holidays start cause of new openings) , the first reactions weren't good. And CF made almost the same as THG

I am not the expert, I just follow the chinese forums :) Ask Olive he will now (or supreme...) xD

 

Btw the positive thing is, this year was much beter for movie than last year.

 

This was one post of him:

 

7 local blockbusters open on Chinese new year(Feb.19), all the holdovers will lose all the showtimes.

And on New year eve, most big theatres only opens half a day, so MJ1 will only have a 10-day run.

Plus, MJ1 opens on a Sunday..

A drop from CF is inevitable IMO
