Unpopular opinion: Today it dawned on me that with great writers, a Sonic Unleashed or Sonic Colors would have great potential for a film imo.

I'd watch an Unleashed film.

 

I haven't played Forces and probably won't but the barebones of that story seem cool too until someone remembered "Hey, it's a Sonic game".

I love the idea of a Sonic Colors film. Colors has this aspect that makes it a touch more meaningful to me than quite a few more of the other Sonic games from the past ten-ish years.

I'd stick with more classic sonic for the basis of a movie.

being able to pretend it's a bizzare persona/sonic crossover with one of the costumes was amazing though

Sonic Colors is definitely the best Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2.

All Sonic 3D games should use it as an inspiration.
