It sort of reminds me of the situation surrounding Justice League, although in this case, they’re at least willing to push the release date back.

This will probably flop no matter what but at least February gives it a fighting chance now instead of getting completely run over by Frozen 2 like it would have in November.

I don’t think this movie is completely dead. If they do a good redesign of Sonic and put out a good 2nd trailer it can turn out ok.

Jesus Lord, the people who went way overboard with Sonic's design should be f-f-f-iiired.

The movie itself still looks bad, but this is a huge improvement.

And it's fixed. Good lord, how could they fuck up the design so bad? It's already been done for you, why are they trying to alter it? There's a reason he doesn't have the human-esque features they tried to give him in the first place. It would be exactly the same thing as if Detective Pikachu tried to alter Pikachu's design, which would have been just as disastrous.

I was feeling pretty bad for everything the studio has been through, and the fact they listened to people who complained was pretty sweet, so I was thinking about giving it a shot on $5 Tuesday, but this is my first time watching the trailer and it just looks like a train wreck from the start. Lol
