Right, so don't make the ridiculous comparison in the first place.

 

As stated on this forum 870 times before, Deep Impact don't hurt Armageddon and the Legend of Hercules was obliterated by Hercules.

 

Besides that fact, why do you think they're similar at all? Because they both star mostly black people, whom are playing black characters that wear street/baller/swag fashion? One is a recording act biopic set 20+ years ago and the other one is a comedy set in the present.

This could really really do well. I've had people come up consistently when I'm working asking when Compton is coming out. Although my manager tells me its not the type of movie that typically does well in our town, so if we do actually get it, it may just be for a filler for a week.

Fingers crossed though.
