Blankments
Now I think about it, Hiccup said he was going to post the WW Totals last weekend. You may want to send him a PM as a reminder. Already did a week ago, but I'll shoot another reminder his way

Blankments
Actuals will be tomorrow night regardless of if Hiccup gives me holdovers or not. If he doesn't, I'll simply give every movie from Year 8 a 50% drop every week. Sorry to be so boring about it, but they're needed to fill up the chart. Hopefully Hiccup sends me holdover numbers though so I don't have to do that Friday when I first log onto forums - January Saturday when I first log onto forums - February Sunday when I first log onto forums - March

Films
No way Samara opens that high. It's still a cash-in on a franchise with no pull these days. Halve that OW and you're on target. Are you sure now?

rukaio101
Black Cat - $19.4m/$62.7m (With a lot of Japanese adaptions lately, something may dissapoint) I don't really get the logic behind that. That's like saying because there are too many films based on books coming out one must flop even though one is a Romance, another is a Fantasy, another is a spy thriller, another is horror, etc etc and they couldn't be much more different. Out of the three Japanese manga adaptations in the last quarter, one was a visuals heavy, Life of Pi-esque Fantasy, one was period action movie with heavy elements of gothic horror and Black Cat is a straight action movie with elements of comedy and sci-fi. There's not going to be much overlap.

Films
I don't know if anyone else would like this but I think it would be good to have a club topic (like alpha suggested a couple of years ago) and we can post a couple of clubs on there. It will make predicting more fun. If anyone else thinks its a good idea (which im doubting but hopeful) then I will start a topic. And all the clubs would go in the same thread so we don't have a bunch of new topics clustering up the CAYOM forum Edited June 28, 2014 by The Fault In Our Stars

Films
That's a cool idea, though I do worry that the thread will become clustered itself.I think if this goes ahead, I will put a limit to the number of clubs that can be created so it doesn't become clustered but thanks for giving me the reason to even think of this ideaIf one more person wants to do this, I'll put up the thread
