You talk about how Doc was your dream project, how you spent years getting a complete collection of the original 1930's pulp magazines,you buy the rights,  you sign the Rock, and it seems no closer to happening.

in this case, this movie needs two things:

 

1) good reception

2) the budget isn't bigger than 70-75 mln.

I don't see this hitting $30M even with good reviews. I think $25M is probably where it'll end up.

I'll believe it when I see it.

Another posted the Alien Covenant so I'll just say recall how Blade Runner 2049 was going to come in around $50 as well...till it didn't.

I think it looks really great and really fun. Definitely the best trailer so far, has come a long way since the first one had a bit of a Spielberg feel.
