I'll be happy when these remakes are over.  Not because I don't like some of them I just would like to see some original ideas.

Well, my post was in response to someone questioning audiences being willing to pay to watch these remakes. Regardless of these movies; quality, it is very obvious that people love them.

Goodish not great with many mixed. I expect reviews similar to MPR or Christopher Robin.

Some predicting near 1 billion, others predicting 99 min Dom and under 200 WW...

 

Put me in the middle camp. Christopher Robin opened to 24 million. I think this opens to 50+, maybe 60+

I would like this to make much more than MPR - but I don't see the demand.

 

So MPR numbers sound OK, with a much bigger OS number, of course. MPR was an OS flop.

I'm guessing millions of children. My daughter out of the blue tonight asked when are we going to see the flying elephant movie, I really want to see it. She rarely ever specifically mentions movies. 

 

I'm going with 225+ DOM, 500+ WW.

Yeah i’ve seem some mixed reactions last week, but this week i’ve only seeing great reactions. I think MPR is a good comparison though, maybe a little worse or a little better.
