A week later is Super Bowl so Sunday is a dead day. A week earlier is too close to Nut Job 2, which opens on MLK weekend.

So this is basically the Twilight version of all the Emmerich movies?

Seriously though, I was a tiiiiny bit intrigued but not sold on the "YA alien invasion" premise of the book, this trailer basically made it look like Emmerich/M. Night disaster porn mashup with cliche YA elements, so, pass.

Everything? I don't know tbh. The CGI looks terrible. Looks bland as hell. The cast is fine, I like the lead girl.
