Jay Beezy
Could have been worse: It could have been Scotch Trials. What about Crotch Trails?

Nutterbutter
The books are a lot of fun, especially The Scorch Trials. (God, I typed "Trails" at first...)
Klingo
After the watching the first movie I've decided I need to read the books. In glad they are making the sequel. 2nd book was ok, 3rd not so much.
Nutterbutter
Yeah, Third Book Curse strikes again. It's not terrible, but not nearly as good or interesting as the others.

Aplandg
Yeah, Third Book Curse strikes again. It's not terrible, but not nearly as good or interesting as the others. I agree with this, but I've heard a lot of people talk up the 3rd book in this series. For me it lacked some of the imagination of the first two and although a lot seems to happen in the third book, I found it the most dull with the worst pacing. I really appreciated the swift, crisp, linear story of the second book.
bitterblue
After the watching the first movie I've decided I need to read the books. In glad they are making the sequel. I had the opposite experience, I actually deleted the ebook from my nook. I am not opposed to watching the 2nd film for free, I just don't think I care enough to read it
DAJK
I think the third book is great except for the ending. As for the Scorch Trials, it's the type of book that would work better as a movie. It's more visual that narrative in my opinion.

Aplandg
Probably a promising sign for a trailer with Insurgent. And I feel like the 3D is Fox's way of ensuring Scorch Trails beats Insurgent OS and probably WW.
Nutterbutter
Considering the OS market seemed to like Maze Runner a lot more than they liked Divergent anyway, that possibility seems well within reach.
ZattMurdock
I still have to watch the first film.

Ikr, It would beat Insurgent even if It was in 2D again. lol

antovolk
Wondering if 3D info is actually legit...only seeing CS and FirstShowing mention it. Maybe it's with whatever press release they sent with the photos to outlets?
