Travod
What I wonder is about the movies take on religion. Scorsese had pretty much stopped being contreversial after Goodfellas-Casino for almost 20 years. He made some really good or great movies (most notably Departed but others as well) but they weren't contreversial. Until the WOWS shitstorm showed that he still had it in him to be provocative. The story of Silence doesn't sound anti-chirstian but we can't tell from a synopsis. I wonder if this will be Scorsese vs fanatic religious groups part 2. I mean it's based off of the book which is about the persecution of Jesuit priests in Japan. So.
Blankments
I hope it's not rushed out for this year; I agree with Coolio on Selma missing about because of Paramount rushing it.
Travod
People on IMDb keep saying, "BUT REMEMBER WOWS?!?!?!?! We didn't find out about the release date until like September!" It's annoying. I really want 2015 to happen but I don't see it happening.
TStechnij
There is no way this is coming out this year. This is a Scorsese passion project and I think everyone can agree that WOWS could have been saved with more time in post-production. Marty has kept films in post-production for many years before, and I am sure he wants to nurture this. Scorsese doesn't care about Oscars, but Paramount does, so we'll see it late next year.

TStechnij
WOWS was fine. I am a huge Scorsese fan but it isn't up to par which has nothing to do about content. It isn't Goodfellas good and it could have been with better editing. It is a huge fanboy movie though, so I know these probably will be divisive words. 7/10 and Raging Bull is my favorite movie ever.
Kalo
Is this movie coming out in 2016 now? the premise sounds incredibly intriguing to me. but there hasn't been so much as a official photo released yet, so I'm guessing it's 2016. That's good news. With the trailer we may get an official date. or will it be given by studio early?
