Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows | June 3, 2016 | IMAX release confirmed

Imo I hope they make the Turtles look better in the next film.

Big action and Megan fox.... well I wont pretend to be a cultured man... I will watch that.

I expect a decrease domestic but huge increase WW.

That was the least of their problems. The movie had promise, but it had some issues that needed to be touched upon first.

One, like you said, they made the Turtles look too hideous, with the exception of maybe Leonardo (should have used his basic look and went on from there)

Two, their whole backstory with Splinter learning Ninja moves from a book was laughable.

Three- not enough ninja action, and the shaky cam was too much to actually see the action when it was there, so they need to get rid of it.

Four, bring back the original voice actor for Leonardo, Knoxville just wasn't working.

Five, trade Will Harnet's Vernon for Casey Jones.

They fix those issues, and then we might actually have a movie that won't make my head hurt.

I like TMNT, a lot.  It's fun, funny and did a good job of appealing to franchise laypeople like me.  I think the turtle designs are fine, no need to change them.  The only thing I would change is to recast April.  I think Fox isokay, but she lacks the down-to-earth quality that everything else in the movie targeted.  She's just not a match, it happens.

To their credit they seem to have already canned Shitsman so it has a fighting chance to not be total shit.

No director could have saved that script. It was complete barebones with zero substance. There was barely even a plot, or characters. Like it was the very first draft.

Megan is a great April glad to see they are keeping her and not listen to those with their own biased opinion of who April should be. They don't know better than the producers anyway. Imagine if people had listed to them Ledger would never had played Joker. Daniel Craig would never had been Bond the list goes on and on.

That's Shitsman's filmography in a nutshell so it probably fit. :P

Actually, the entire movie plot changed in editing and reshoots. You can piece the original plot together but it would have been a complete mess and seen huge fan backlash with the original script and movie.

The plot of the first film was so incompehensibly stupid that I kinda loved it.

Big snowy mountain just a few miles outside sunny Manhattan? Sure, why not?

Evil plot to poison the world and reap profits off the cure...and you...release the poison from your own god damn building and even brand the poison container with your company logo?

Whatever.

April O'Neil can't act? Hey, not like she ever could.

Liked the first movie, bring me more.

The movie has a plot.

There's a difference between not having a plot, and having an incredibly stupid one.
