I like the Tyler Perry casting. Sadly he'll probably have lines that don't fully allow for him to excel but we'll see. 

I liked Alex Cross, too bad that was dead on arrival.

In one of the new cartoons Baxter Stockman lost his body and his head was carried around in a glass jar before being attached to robotic spider legs so he could move around freely.

I'm curious if they'll take that direction in the movie.

Can't say I've seen Alex Cross or many Madea flicks but I thought he was surprisingly effective in Gone Girl. He's at least got some charisma.
